Wilson

An independent rebuild of Wilson Egypt's home-appliance store — the real catalog pulled from their live WooCommerce site, rebuilt end-to-end as a bespoke Flask + React platform.

Full-stack developer

A rebuild, not a mockup

Wilson Egypt’s real store runs on WordPress + WooCommerce at wilson-eg.com. This is an independent, unsolicited rebuild — nobody at Wilson commissioned it. The full live catalog (26 products across 5 categories, real EGP pricing, real stock status) was pulled straight from their own WooCommerce REST API, then rebuilt from scratch as a bespoke platform rather than a reskin.

A platform, not a storefront demo

A 50-route Flask + SQLAlchemy API: phone-based JWT auth with role-gated admin access, product/category CRUD, image uploads, a coupon system with validation, favorites, orders. A full admin portal — dashboard, products, categories, orders, customers, coupons, slides, settings — sits behind the same auth as the storefront, not bolted on after. React 18 + TypeScript on Radix primitives, React Query for data, React Hook Form + Zod for validation. RTL-first (Cairo/Tajawal + Inter), Egyptian Gold on a warm-cream ground, themed for dark mode too.

What completeness means here

Playwright for e2e, Vitest + Testing Library + vitest-axe for accessibility — the tooling of a production build, aimed at a project nobody asked for. The pitch is the engineering itself: what Wilson’s real storefront would need to compete, proven independently rather than proposed on paper.
