The question before the work
Most agencies open with “what do you want?” bosla opens with a different one:
“إحنا مش بنسألك عايز إيه — بنسألك رايح فين.” We don’t ask what you want. We ask where you’re going.
Every client arrives with a problem, not a request. bosla diagnoses first, sets direction second, builds third. Not a media company. Not a software company. A direction company — and the two arms (Creative Direction and Technology Solutions) are one identity, not two departments bolted together.
Two arms, one direction
- Creative Direction — narrative before the camera. Brand identity, positioning, voice.
- Technology Solutions — logic before the code. The systems that make the direction real.
The enemy isn’t competitors — it’s blind execution: motion without direction. Most people are moving. Few know where. bosla is for the few.
The identity, executed
A restrained visual language built on restraint itself: Bosla Black (~70% of every surface), Electric Blue used only for display and graphics — never body text — and Bone for logo and primary type. Video and Sheershak for display type (EN/AR), Cairo for body. No gradients, no gold, no literal compass icon, no stock photography, no bounce in motion — only a settle: a needle finding its heading and stopping.
The north star doubles as the brief’s own filter: does this help the client know where they’re going, before they move? If not, redirect before shipping.
